The Garden Center is located in the Horticulture Complex at the north end of the campus, next to the Arboretum and Chinese Garden. During spring quarter, the Garden Center will offer Saturday afternoon seminars on a variety of subjects. Pre-registration for the seminars is suggested. Seminar fees are $6.00 per person. The Garden Center will operate until June 30, Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:30am – 3:30pm. The Garden Center offers the following:
- Tools
- Shrubs
- Unusual perennials
- Houseplants
- Broad leaf evergreens
- Trees
The site serves as a realistic outdoor laboratory for students to practice the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the horticulture industry. It also serves as a meeting place for garden clubs and service groups.
The Arboretum is open to the public during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday.
