The Academic Transfer Program

Here are six good reasons to earn an Associate Degree at South:

  1. Instructional Excellence - All full-time faculty hold a Master's or Doctorate Degree.

  3. Smaller Classes - The student to faculty ratio averages 25-1, so you will get personal attention.
  4. Close to Home - Earning the first two years of a four-year degree at South means you won't have to spend extra money on an apartment or dormitory.
  5. Ease of Transfer of Credits - Under transfer agreements, Washington State colleges and universities are obligated to accept Community College transfer students with a two-year Associate of Arts degree and a 2.0 GPA (2.75 for UW).
  6. Convenience – We offer day, evening & Saturday classes, as well as several distance learning options.
