Salzedo Harp
About John's harp, the Salzedo
Named after the legendary harpist Carlos Salzedo and introduced in 1928, Art Deco design and geometric detailing make the Salzedo Modern distinct among Lyon & Healy harps. Natural maple finish and ornamented action plate. Red and silver stripes decorate the extended soundboard of the hand-carved column and base of this magnificent harp.

Legend has it that the designer of the Empire State Building created this beautiful harp design about one year prior to the construction of the building, incorporating the motif of the harp column into the building's classic spire.
